Nicole J. Coward
Nicole and by extension, her firm, brings a creative and personalized approach to the practice of law. As an experienced litigator with a strong corporate background, she is able to expansively view her clients’ needs and comprehensively provide solutions that are uniquely suited for each client. Nicole represents include individuals, startup and established businesses, entertainers, media companies and charitable and religious organizations in all aspects of their affairs. She specializes in entertainment and intellectual property matters – media, copyright, trademark and licensing – as well as litigation and dispute resolution, general estate planning/administration and business law counseling (contract, governance and corporate due diligence). Nicole’s dedication to service extends her counsel to whatever concerns her clients may have.
Nicole brings a diverse range of experience to her practice, having worked at the prestigious international law firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP and Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP. In this capacity, she handled complex commercial litigations, corporate internal investigations, bankruptcy proceedings, non-profit advisory work, corporate agreements, copyright and trademark monitoring and enforcement and business entity formations for clients and individuals from a broad array of industries and backgrounds: media, music, restaurants, charitable organizations, digital media, sports marketing agencies, filmmakers and high net-worth individuals. Nicole also served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Nina Gershon in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Currently, Nicole is an Adjunct Professor of Advanced Appellate Advocacy at her alma mater, Fordham University School of Law.
